At this one day seminar you have the opportunity to get an update on what theories of war is and what it has to offer. Presenters at the seminar are experts on the subject. It is possible to participate in the morning, the afternoon or both. The seminar is for teachers and student at the Royal Danish Defence College, however people not related to the Royal Danish Defence College are also more than welcome. 
   
Programme:
The morning programme is lead of by the British naval historian Andrew Lambert who will tell us more about ”Julian Corbett’s Influence and Relevance for the Contemporary and Future Armed Forces Professionals”. Afterwards Niels Bo Poulsen, from Institute for Military History and War Studies, speaks about “Russian Views of War and Warfare and their and future implications”.
After lunch the afternoon programme continues where researchers from Institute for Military History and War Studies will give an overview and examples of their use of theories of war.
