ISIS is the first terror-organization to fully exploit the possibilities of social media. They don't work through the same bureaucracy or follow the same rules as western organizations, and they are easily finding new followers and fighters worldwide on social media.

But even though we know a lot of the reasons why ISIS are so effectively recruiting young people on the social media, it is still a challenge to stop the process. The visible, online process is only the beginning, the final part is happening in private conversations.
